I am a microbiologist with a diverse background in fungal biology, microbial ecology, and computational modeling, focused on understanding the complex interactions within microbial systems. My research investigates how the metabolic functions and stability of human gut microbiota communities are influenced by environmental factors, such as dietary fibers. Using a data-driven, systems biology approach, my future work aims to uncover the role of bacteria-fungi interactions in health and disease, ultimately contributing to therapeutic strategies for microbiome-related conditions.
